David McGaffee

mcgaffieDavid McGaffee started his skeet shooting career at a young age when he shot 400 targets in 1975.  By 1978 he was on the Sub-Junior All-American Team, and in 1979 he was Captain of the Sub-Junior All-American Team.  He made the Open Honorable Mention All-American Team in 1993, 1994 and 1996, and in 1995 he was on the Open Second All-American Team.

Dave has contributed to the promotion and welfare of the sport of skeet shooting and has distinguished himself as a top shooter.  He has garnered an impressive list of wins with an outstanding array of trophies.  At the 1991 World Skeet Championships Dave won the Mini World .410 and HOA   R/U.   At the 1992 World Championships he finished AAA-1HOA with 549×550.  He won the 20 Gauge World Championship in 1998 and the World Champion 20 Gauge Runner-up in 1999.  He has won four Zone 7 Championships, Doubles in 1991, HOA in 1994 and the Prelim and Doubles in 1995.  He has won sixteen Arizona State Championship Titles, four HOA, two 12 Gauge, two 20 Gauge, three 28 Gauge, three .410 bore and two doubles titles.

David is the President of the Ben Avery Shooting Center near Phoenix Arizona which has become one of America
