GREY L. SILVA
Grey Silvas skeet career began in 1938 at the Southern California Championships. After shooting for a few years Grey took some time off and then returned to full time competition in 1976. Grey currently has 18 active years of shooting competition, which is the envy of shooters half his age. Grey now shoots in the Senior-Veteran category for shooters that have attained their 80th birthday. Since returning to skeet, Greys shooting accomplishments are many.
On the national level Grey holds the veteran record with the only 100 in the 410 and high overall scores of 397/400 and 481/500. He has been the Veteran HOA leader 4 times, high average leader in different guns 18 times and has been named to 8 veteran All-America teams. Grey has won numerous titles at the world shoot.
On a local level Grey has been the Zone 7 HOA veteran 6 times, won 16 individual veteran titles, been named to the open all-star team twice and the veteran team 7 times. In his home state of California and wherever Grey has shot, his list of shooting accomplishments reads like a who
