Dr. Charles E. Clark
Dr. Charles E. Clark has spent most of his leisure time with and for skeet shooters. He has done this while being a busy family physician and founding president and chief‑of‑staff of Encinitas Hospital in San Diego
Dr. Clark’s contribution to skeet extends to all levels ‑ ‑ local, state, zone and national. He has represented California shooters on the NSSA Board of Directors for many years as well as serving as an officer and director for the Southern California Association. He was also one of the founding fathers in the organization of the Zone 7 Association. At the national level, he has served as chairman of the prestigious General Rules Committee, was elected vice president of NSSA, and became president in 1980. Dr. Clark was instrumental in the re‑establishment of NSSA’s close relationship with NRA and has continuously represented the NSSA as a member of the NRA Competitions Committee, a board member of the International Shooter Development Fund, and the US Shooting Team as a member of the US Olympic Committee. However, his contributions have not all been at the administrative level.
