BRUCE KINKNER

BKINKNERBruce Kinkner of Phoenix, Arizona is Familiar to skeet shooters wherever he goes and has been a driving force in Arizona and Zone 7 Skeet shooting associations for many years.

 During his 23 plus years of skeet, he has added many new shooters to the NSSA rolls. He has spent countless hours training new shooters and promoting the game of skeet nationwide. In 1983 he was awarded the Ray Boller Award in recognition of his dedication and contributions to the sport of skeet shooting.

 For many years, Bruce has served as a Arizona State NSSA Director as well as NSSA Zone 7 Executive Committeeman. In addition, he has served as president of his gun club, served on the Arizona Skeet Association, helped create the group that organized the Arizona State Skeet Shooting Association, organized the Zone 7 Skeet Championships, has been president of the Zone 7 Skeet Association, and has personally developed and promoted such notable shoots as the Wells Fargo Open and the Early Times Open. He has taken small shoots and elevated them to the status of fixture events with participation at maximum capacity.

 On the national level, Bruce has involved himself in many other areas. He has served the NSSA many times on the Classification Committee, the permanent Homesite Committee, and as chairman of the Skeet Shooting Review Committee.

 In addition to his dedication to promoting skeet, Bruce is also an exceptional shooter winning many championships on the local, state, regional and national levels.
